Description
So bosses often think they can get more out of their workers and then are surprised when more often than not they fail to do so. Yet bosses either deliberately or because they do not give a damn do not understand their workers. If they took the time to watch and listen to their staff then they could improve worker satisfaction as well as company performance. Workers can also learn when they have the opportunity to improve where they work, and when it is sometimes far more sensible to get a job somewhere else and leave at their earliest convenience.
Perhaps junior management and workers should consider that it is head office that could be the ones to blame for stress and low pay instead of finding fault with each other.
Undoubtedly, any managers reading these reflections would find them scathing in many ways.
