I Am Conscious of the Hidden Heartache Being Faced by Others
My purpose in life is to be of help to those with the greatest concerns. Although I am sometimes unable to see their pain, I am conscious that everyone experiences difficulties.
I use my own life as evidence that there is sometimes heartache beneath a sunny surface. It is possible that others are experiencing similar things.
When my staff members seem distracted at work, I avoid passing judgment. I open my mind to the possibility that something is bothering them inside. My approach is to mention my observation and give them a chance to open up. Sometimes people cry out for help in the most unexpected ways.
I use my coping and resolution mechanisms to help others. The ideal way to deal with hurt is to open up about it. Sharing it with someone starts the healing process. It exposes people to alternative solutions that their minds are unable to come up with.
Opening myself up to the plight of others helps me to understand the source of their pain. I provide emotional support that is relevant to them.
Today, I am conscious of the internal suffering taking place around me. Being aware of the spiritual brokenness others are experiencing gives me a chance to assist. I embrace my ability to identify an emotional need and provide much-needed support.
