Peace is My Goal
Peace is my main objective. I know I am on the right track when my mind is clear and calm.
I meditate each day. I create a quiet space in my home where I can sit and reflect. I focus on my breath and explore my thoughts.
I pay attention to my inner dialogue. I speak to myself with love and compassion. I comfort myself when I am feeling anxious. I enjoy a good laugh. Humor turns challenges into entertainment. I transform tension into tranquility.
I exercise regularly. A healthy body supports a peaceful mind. I take action. My worries stop when I am busy working on solutions.
I slow down. I move more deliberately. I pause to savor each experience. I schedule short breaks between meetings and errands. I budget plenty of time for completing tasks.
I engage with nature. I go for a walk on a wooded trail and listen to the birds singing.
Even if I am too busy to leave the office, I gaze out the window and look for shapes in the clouds.
I appreciate the company of my loved ones. I accept my family and friends for who they are. I focus on what I like about them. I think about the kind things that they do for me.
I enjoy giving to others. Happiness and serenity envelop me when I spend an afternoon volunteering for a local charity.
Today, I choose to be at peace. I am in harmony with myself and the world.
